About Oakmere Counseling
You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
Oakmere Counseling was created as a space to slow down, feel, and to begin again.
Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, therapy here is grounded in evidence-based care- but guided by something just as important: being human.
Session are available in-person in Edinburg and via Telehealth across Texas.
How I Work
Therapy here is grounded in evidence-based care—-but it’s also human.
You don’t need to show up with everything figured out. You don’t need the right words.
We move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you—whether that’s understanding patterns, processing experiences, or simply having a space to breathe and think clearly again.
Who I Help
You don’t have to be in crisis to begin therapy.
Many of the people I work with are navigating things like:
Anxiety that feels constant or overwhelming
Trauma that still lingers, even when life “looks fine”
Depression, burnout, or emotional exhaustion
Life transitions that feel uncertain or heavy
A desire to better understand themselves and feel more grounded
You may not have all the answers. You might not even know where to start.
That’s okay—we begin there.
What to Expect
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
We’ll begin with a conversation. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready to.
From there, we’ll work together to understand what is bringing you in and what you are hoping for— at your pace.
There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. We simply begin where you are.
